RE:Those hoping on Germany legalization Louise,
Don't get your nickers in such a bunch. The political system consists of the ruling party and the opposition No matter what gets proposed for change the two sides will argue about it. You can propose anything they like and it will be argued over until it gets worked out.
Here's the thing to keep in mind. Neither party wants to lose votes in any election so (at the end of the day) they are going to do what the majority of their voters would want to see happen.
In Canada we seen a long and drawn-out debate on Cannabis Legalization however it eventually passed as the majority of voters wanted it. I suspect we will see much the same in the US as we have the majority of US states already moving towards (or passed) some level of Cannabis Legalization. Politicians will do what their voters want because the politicians want to keep get voted in.
In Germany, we will see the same thing play out -> Majority Rule. IMHO most Germans likely want to see Cannabis Legalized as well and it will come into place once the politicians are finished grand-standing and pretending like they serve some sort of purpose.
Anyhow, as always, give it some thought
Best Regards,
