Proper inspection systems of product inspection in place from day 1, for the industry to have rules/ regs consistant with the rules/ regs at the state/ federal levels.
Canopy is not going to be generating any numbers until it and/or other producer/ suppliers are licensed can open it's/ ther doors fully across rhe country, barking for sales is going to get nothing until plenty more infrastructure and rules are in place, besides the mail. A government that is going to manage and control the borders, as well as the legal cannabis industry implemented.
They need the legal potcos up and running, following the rules/ laws and setting the standards required for operation in a free and fair democracy....appropriate rules and laws will be in place on how product is sold/ purchased. This will be necessary to control the illegal product and ensure that fentanyl et al availability and use is minimal and managed.
Canopy is in pretty good shape already and will be able to acquire or unload assets as required along with the rest of the industry. They should have some serious shelf area stocked with the finest quality product day1 in every area they intend on doing business in. North of the 49th will be pleased with the end menus as well? Today is a ways from there yet.
