RE:It takes years to change laws and its already been 50yr

RE:It takes years to change laws and its already been 50yrI am taking into account the 88% of US States that already legalized to one degree or another.  I believe we have 3 more states with pending votes to also legalize.  Eventually we will see virtually all 50 states with legal Cannabis.

What will the US Federal Government do then?  I see them as having little to no choice but to legalize Cannabis on the Federal Level -> Majority Rules.

I believe the US Fed already know this and the reason why legalization hasn't taken place as of yet is due to the election.  With Harris coming out to support re-scheduleing I believe this is all optics for the Dems and a means to win votes for the election despite the reality being that Cannabis will have to be legalized Federally regardless of who is in office -> Again due to Majority Rules.

Legalization addresses serveral points of concern within the US:

- Money needed to address nation debt. This will come from direct sales tax on Cannabis but also through income tax on the additional folks who will get work within the industry

- Additional Job Creation.  This will include everything for low-skill workers to high technical skilled individuals.

- Reduction in Crime.   This ties to both on-going Blackmarket sales being reduced but also to crime associated with current Cannabis stores having to deal with only cash and being held-up and robbed.  I believe we already seen a loss of life in one of these events and the US Fed will not want fingers being pointed at them for continuing to delay Federal legalization

That's 3 points, there are more but I don't have the time to write them all up.  I would suggest using Google to search out "Benefits to legalize cannabis" or "why should cannabis be legal" to learn more.

Best Regards,

Q
