I guess it does not matter since Trump who is not in favour of legalization will be the next US president( I can't believe it), after that disaster last night. Biden HAS to drop out before National Convention in August. Please Mr. Biden put your ego aside and drop out.

Schedule III news is likely going to come out relatively soon (days / weeks) I suspect.  I'm long-hauling on my Cannabis investments so I am not tracking the expected dates super-close.

The debate last night was "interesting".  Biden did better than I expected he would however he still showed Americans how poor his memory is doing. I view him remaining in power as "Elder Abuse", the man should be at home with his family while he can still remember their names.  Frankly I don't see 4 more years for him in much of any capacity.

The topic of drugs came up briefy and there was certainly an opening there for either of them to discuss Cannabis reform but it never happened.

I was just reading over a MJ Moment article on new ads out from the Biden team going after Trump on the Cannabis reform topic so I will still hold to the believe that Cannabis legalization / reform will be used as a political tool to win votes.

The Trump team could easily rebuttal the topic by keeping the local legalization / access to cannabis regulated at the state-level while legalizing federally.  This would align with the Trump view of abortion rights which is another hot-topic at a state level.

I simply cannot see the US not moving forward with full legalization (whichever way they go about it).  We are seeing far too many states either moving towards it or already there.  Politicans know they need to either address the topic or lose voter support.  Law enforement and the IRS also appear on board and we know HHS is pushing for it.

In terms of technicals on Canopy Growth, I focus more on the fundamentals and expected longer term sales ratios based on my own projected sales figures.  Projections of this manner are very much subjective.   I am doing my best to avoid the topic of shareprice movements as well.  I view my approach as being more of a long-term investor in my stocks and seldom get tempted to swing or day-trade.

Hope that helps to some degree

TC
