What message is Constellation sending to the Markets ?

When Bill Newlands CEO of constellation brands resigns from canopy and constellation sends out a signal they are proposing a massive injection of money to takeover monster ???

Seems like they are losing patience with canopy and aren't as interested as they were when they injected 5 Billion into canopy
