Klein, Canopy to Realize Profit

Klein continues to see clear path to profit for Canopy's CDN operations, of which included ~$241mil in impairmrnts and restructuring in FY2022 report. Now with some time in the CEO chair he remains positive on profit realized for CDN operations....The Canadian weed producer reported net revenue of C$111.8 million ($87.7 million) for the quarter ended March 31, down 25% from a year earlier. Analysts had expected C$131.6 million in revenue, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

There are still growing pains for the company and It will take some time for this significant shift in operations to be fully implemented, of which is normal for any company with major changes made and integrated. This on top of a brand new industry with major government interference. JMHO...Opt

Klein didn't sound bad in the interview at all, and most importantly he's right that Canopy's balance sheet doesn't reflect their US assets, question is why isn't the market pricing that in.  Maybe not yet.

Why?  Bleeding quickly through their cash, and inevitable dillution at a horrible price.  They can slow it down, but they can't stop it.  In fact, they've already done an excellent job in proving they can't stop it.

That's funny. You said they were going to gave a cash burn of 750 million in the last quarter and it was only a hundred million. According to your own projections, they have done a stellar job of reducing cash burn. You sound confused. If they burn through 100 million per quarter they have enough cash for 3.5 years. There will be no dilution or cash raise unless they choose to make a large

While it would be fine to shed the crud it will be much better making some coin along the way.
