Matteo, how do you get $109. a share?  Without the rs, it would be $1.09 a share, right?

Charlie is right again. Pre RS we are currently at $1.09, from an all time high of approx $70.00. The last time re-scheduling came up last Sept/23, the stock went to $2.60 (pre-RS) or $26.00 today. Obviously caused by short covering. What I am trying to say is with any help from the US congress we could easily be back to $2.60 pre-RS or $26.00 today. If you wait for full legalization like our ...more

You guys are completely overlooking the fundamentals (as usual).  The R/S improved the EPS numbers which means on a EPS measure the R/S moves the stock closer to reporting EPS positive. You can Google "does a reverse split improve stock EPS" to get further details. Canopy can be speculated to be selling additional product into Germany now that the market opened. So upcoming ...more

Sorry Q- a reduction in shares comestically will enhance the EPS, but does not enhance the value of the company. Canopy's value as a company stays the same after the RS. Second, no one uses price to book as reliable valuation measure for a young company. Please read a few Finance texts. You may be able to use P/B for mature companies like the CDN banks or BCE but Canopy is not in that ...more

Define "Young"  This company has been in business before Canada Legalized.  It has gone through lots of changes both in terms of ramp ups and ramp downs in anticipation of pending US legalization and even had a management shuffle.   The business is now streamlined and debt has been paid down big time.  Had the original CEO been a bit more conservative The ...more

You make me laugh, always putting down people who aren't afraid to trade.  You're an example of what not to do in this industry.   What do you do, call your broker when you want to average down?  The difference is that since the beginning I have pocketed hundreds of thousands and you still hoping klein will help you break even. I don't care if any of these companies ...more

Q- don't freak out. I am with you as an investor. I am simply pointing out that Price to Book is not used as a relialbe metric to value companies anymore, especially companies that are relatively young 0- 10 years old. Also, enhancing EPS through a RS does NOT enhance the value of a company. Simple Finance. Take a gummie and have a great weekend. As speculation grows, we should see a higher ...more

Everyone has their own view as to what young / old is.  As you age that bar shifts higher.   EPS progress and being under book are also only two of many fundamentals to weigh views on.  Considering the lack of interest in the forum for discussion I am not going to waste my time. This weekend I'm just looking over videos etc regarding 4-20 celebrations and running sales ...more
