Hello All,
I have been trying to figure out what is taking the DEA so long to provide their recommendation and I have come up with a theory.
Do you think the DEA was going to to announce that they would NOT reschedule to Level 3, originally, but politics came into play. In other words, the Biden administration stepped in and told DOJ that they do not agree with that recommendation and for them to re- analyze their opinion? Could that happen?
The only other reason they would delay is for politcal impact. However given the US election is less than 6 months away why would they not announce before the electorate view it as a political toy.

They likely had it figured out for awhile now. Official announcement is likely tied to the election and how they will best use the news to win votes. These are the times when having a lazy boy recliner plays to your advantage.
