FYI for the CGC board Quinlash is apparently long Tilray and declared he will pull take his profits from WEED and put it in Tilray. Always good to know motivations behind posts.

Wow things a getting a little spicy! In regard to oldweed's question, my opinion is the new structure is similar to a shell corporation. The only purpose is to circomvent US federal laws and combine all three of Canopy's businesses. They had to show the SEC that Canopy USA was a stand alone business. However, it does not mean they have sold or divested of the USA business. It is lying in ...more

Thanks BG, thats exactly the type of feedback I'm looking for. With regards to legalization, if it drags on for years do you think there would be a possibilty Canopy could cease trading and CUSA remain intact and out of reach of Canopy investors?

Not to be coy, but if it takes years and years to get Safe Banking or full legalization, Canopy will be toast. They would have to dilute since they are currently burning through cash.  I think realistically Safe and rescheduling should pass soon. Full legalization, in 2025.

Agreed, my concern actually is based on that likelyhood, Constellation has made it very clear they will not invest another dime in Canopy, and Canopy has been very clear in their gudance of ongoing concern. With Constellation basically in the drivers seat I was concerned if this was an actuall exit strategy for them, while at the same time remaining in the sector with the best parts. Maybe, maybe not, Canopy Medical can be expected to produce stronger numbers now with Germany Legalizing
