RE: RE: Undervalued!!!Sandheads, I don't want to hurt your feelings but I've learned from our exchanges and reading your posts that you're really quite ignorant to both the forest products sector and finance in general. That's okay, I think you're special just for trying. Atta boy!!!
Sooooo when I referred to market value that means shares that are available for purchase on the open market. . . for western that's common shares totalling roughly 128,630,000. . .not the closely held voting stock held by brookfield. This is similar to Interfor, were over 99% of voting stock is held by the Sauder family. . .but you knew that. And you know over 70% of the wood produced by Interfor is for structural applications and over 50% of that historically goes to the U.S., with only 10% of total production being cedar. . .that high loonie is lookin great now isn't it? For the life of me I don't know what brookfield aka Western was thinking diversifying their sales to over 25 countries and minimizing exposure to the U.S.. . . .
