How brutal will earnings be?Given today's big gain over the strike deal news I sold off 1000 shares to slowly start scaling out of my position. It's been a long time coming. I also did a lot of reading up on the Canadian lumber industry as a whole, and see it's going to be a rough ride, if exports don't keep diversifying (assuming Trump wins second term) among other reasons. However, I do see that there is more development with this industry going 'green' in the future, which could entail promising growth way down the road, so it could be a great buying opportunity for investors who don't mind paying a discount now and waiting. Personally I'll be closing out of this position eventually. It's a shame that one of Canada's biggest natural resources are so plagued by volatile circumstances. I'm holding my breath for earnings!
