worst sector...just can't win....

Conifex just reported Q2 profit: 31 cents..6 month total: 59 cents , just finished paying a special 20 cent divi and still only trading at $1.80..so currently trading less than 2X forward P/E..WEF slightly more  expensive but has that international sales angle plus value added stuff to justify....SO WHY DOES THIS SECTOR CONTINUE TO BE PUMMELLED BY SUCH LOW VALUATIONS??? you just can't win and with increasing interest rates , it appears that even darker clouds are on the horizon for this sector...dwdc

All stocks have their part of risks. Many bad things can happen, and you have to be careful because it can be very devastating. You are right, valuation of the sector is low, but I an pretty happy with that.
