If he didn't see thing take off this year. He knows the cyclicality of this stock and this industry. In fact western is highly leveraged due to its relative small size. Goes down harder and faster on the downswings but flies faster and harder on the upside. Plus it's small market cap makes it a delicious takeover target. That adds fuel to the inevitable upward trajectory. The ceo has warrants. He bought in the open market over and above his options because he knows this thing will go up substantially.
