RE:Virtual Healthcare: Multibillion-Dollar Post-COVID BoomI do think that Well could do a better job of making it simpler for patients to access their telemedicine platform for at present it is a bit confusing when it has a separate name an no simple iphone app (like CloudMD) that people can just click on.
When I search my iphone apps for CloudMD, I get their CloudMD app. When I search for Well Health (which is what people see in their press releases) the first thing that comes up is Telus Health; now that is an even bigger problem for obvious reasons. As I really love the team at Well Health and appreciate their tremendous techology expertise (which also gives it an advantage over CloudMd) I am a little surprised that they would not consider this issue? Young people, in particular, are not going to fish around for the Well Health app if another one is right there that they can simply click on. I actually did an experiment to test this theory with my young nephew who was thinking of trying out telemedicine for a rash he was experiencing and he agreed that he would opt for cloudmd as it was just simpler.
Does this make sense to anyone else or am I totally off base and/or missing somthing.
I welcome your respectful responses and counterarguments.
Full disclosure that I am invested--and my wife would say overinvested:-)--in both Well Health and CloudMD as I clearly think both are great companies with their own respective strengths.
Thanks and I hope you are all having a great weekend.
