Yes, but every single year, every single person that turns 18 and becomes an adult knows how to find virtual care, and also will prefer it for the most part. Cheers!

I do think that Well could do a better job of making it simpler for patients to access their telemedicine platform for at present it is a bit confusing when it has a separate name an no simple iphone app (like CloudMD) that people can just click on.  When I search my iphone apps for CloudMD, I get their CloudMD app.  When I search for Well Health (which is what people see in their press ...more

I think that you make a very good point. Incidentally, I tried doing a generic search on Google's Play Store using 'telemedicine' and CloudMD didn't show up so they perhaps need to do something about that.

I believe Well is really pushing their telehealth platform through their network of 1900 OSCAR EMR customers which then supports about ten thousands of physicians whom then will have thousands of their patients the ability to use it.  Why trying to sell an application to individuals online when you can get the medical experts adopting yours and onward use it with thousands of their patients.. ...more

Very good points MB1111 and I totally agree regarding the strong position they have in terms of their captive audience via EMRs and the very effective physician led onboarding of patients.  But don't you think they still could have had a stronger direct to customer product, in parallel with the captive audiience via doctors?  I mean woul it have taken away from latter to improve the ...more

Impossible to know from the outside.  Expectations are high for these companies (DOC and WELL) and time will quickly tell if they are on road to success.  So far they both can raise capital without difficulty and expectations are building up on them from investors and stock analysts.    Quarterly results are our little window on how they do compare to expectations.   ...more
