RE:RE:cole kachur discusses WELL on bnnbloombergThe paymasters, whether private insurers or government, providing and controlling medical services reimbursements are ultimately calling the shots. Given the incredible profligacy of governments north of the Rio Grande, a day of reckoning is coming.
Medical reimbursements, particularly for any services with decent profit margins, will be hit hard. You can digitize medical services and procedures all you want but you will never be granted IBITA immunity by the effulgent chimera of the public's absolute need for health care and guaranteed cash flows derived thereof.
Anybody with a decent short-term memory remembers what happened in 2008-09. In the end WELL will be left holding a Human Resources headache with poor operating margins looking for buyers of their previously inflated assets. By then current management and much of the institutional shareholders will have moved on.
