  Why are you here? Two posts in almost 6 years and both of them on this BB, the last being 6 months ago. Analysts give you some idea about companies which help with your DD prior to investing. If you want to do all the research yourself without any benefit from others (ie. those who do it for a living) then so be it. GLTA

The way I feel about it , you read what they , the analysts , say and see whether it makes sense to you . It's a starting point from which to analyze a company. It's easier to have a reaction than to reinvent the wheel.
