Earnings Predictions?

Anyone have any predictions for pre-merger earnings this week?

Last quarter was $350m & $5.09 on $1.69B in sales

With the reductions in duties and pricing for the quarter, I would expect to see $375-400m or $5.50 - 5.80/share on $1.8B in sales.

Will see how close I get.

I wish i could answer that. My feeling is that we WFG will again exceed the AVG. of 3 analysts estimate  Here is what the Yahoo site give $4.44 for 3 analysts PS Trend Current Qtr. (Dec 2020) Next Qtr. (Mar 2021) Current Year (2020) Next Year (2021) Current Estimate  ...more

I think earnings will be about the same as Q3. Slightly lower lumber prices will be offset by lower duties and slightly higher production. The dark horse is how much did they ship and invoice. Christmas can be tough on mills as trucks and rail cars tighten up. Compare Q4 &Q3 inventory numbers if they miss as the $ will.be sitting there. GLTA

Sounds realistic, xmas does tighten things up and logistics are slower than malasis lately.  Q1/21 will be the real big upside as builders have no choice but buy pricy lumber to keep up with demand. WFG will beat Q3 slightly but by a small margin. sounds like everyones bets are in. GL
