It seems ther eis a lot of BS going on here in commentstowards the deal over the weekend. What most here do not get, this is an Strategic Investment ! It means the company takes a position in WPX and that will lead to finance which is non dilutive ! The cash injection will take WPX almost to production and the project will be financed due to the Offtake agreement and the backing of the Chinese Partners !
What we might see or expect in a second step, perhaps and that is worst case, is another Strategic Investor coming in, probably from India with a nother off take agreement, that would cover the finance part of the mines totally and might add another 20 or 40 milliuon shares, but that is then all WPX needs !
The capital is then covered and the mines project is financed !!!! People, you should read and understand what is going on. Yes dilution hurts, but if dilution ends afte rthis and the project is finance, then it is the best they could do ! Imagine ones they are in production in 2016 and make the first money, the stock price can easily be around 4 or 5 Can Dollars and higher !!!
Perhaps you do get it...... anyway the typical bashers will do their job in making the deal bad and that for a reason !
