Should I buy now?

I have been in this stock now for 2-3 years and this stock hasnt done much other than bounce around between 15-60 cents. This (mine) is literally a gold mind. Has a 40 year shelf life and billions worth of potash. My question is now that this project has been derisked why isnt this stock going up? There is 80 million invested in a study to produce potash from this mine for 1 billion cost instead of 3 billion.. Is this what we are waiting for? Getting tired of waiting.... Should I buy more or just get out?

They have 80 mill in cash. They will probably burn 15-25 mill this year to get the project mine ready. This company is like a call option on potash prices. Mkt is now giving about 20 million to te project now. If potash prices stay at a decent level or increase to 325+. I expect them to be producing by 2nd half 2017. They might get bought out for 150-200 mill. Thats double SP from here. Downside ...more

I have and that is why I bought into this company from the beginning.  I do believe that Potash is likely to see a price increase especially with world farming areas seeing the need to produce more. Even if stock doubles from here which would be .40 cents at this point its still only just around when I bought in. Guess my thoughts at this point is should I cost average at this point in hopes ...more

I think the worst you can do is to stay at .20cent  .... i do not beleive it will get much lower so your risk is very limited the up potential is way bigger....there was a time when  weather  wet/or drought had a big influence in the next year potash prices as it moves the demand....if the chineese invested at .30 cents it surely was not to let it go down to  .20... i say if ...more

I am a big loser here. I still hold 21,000 shares bought @2.11 per share. More than half a decade ago. No use selling and not interested in spending more.

You bought right at the top. I feel for you. Got burnt back then on a few as well .. Been extr cautious and thus lost out on the gold/ silver rally lately. Never avg'd down. Companies with good projects will recover on their day. Potash will be back. It could be sooner than u think.

Time to get into potash is now but this has way too many share out to get any traction. Bloated pig?
Comment by Mick11 on May 14, 2016 1:30pm
It is bloated but Beijing Tairui Innovation Capital Management Ltd. (“Tairui”), whereby Tairui has purchased 238,264,635 common shares of Western (“Common Shares”) at a price of $0.3358 per share for an aggregate purchase price of $80 million as well as CBCHC purchasing millions of dollars in shares.   Don't think these players are out to lose millions.  Patience is definitely ...more
