Insider buyingI'm looking to take advantage of the low copper depressed stocks.
There's an extentive private research document I've seen talking about the upcoming copper shortage because of mine shutdowns all over the world because mining the metal is now unprofitable. Copper needs to be at least $3 to be profitable for most operations.
Just took a position on Teck because of the large insider buying last week. I've had good success buying stocks at lows where insiders buy.
WRN is another copper play with insider buys. So that's coming up on my radar. But WRN is a non-producing junior?
Why would I invest in a jr vs a beat up producing miner at this point in the recovery?
Disclaimer: No position in WRN yet - just looking.
