RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Paul's responseThe road has at least 3 parts. Part 1 was completed several weeks ago and consists of 5km of new roadway & a 70m bridge over the river. It cost $29.6M CDN and was funded by the Yukon & Ottawa. Part 2 and 3 are the rest of the road to the Casino mine site. Combined they are around 160km, and the preliminary civil engineering study indicated 21 bridges and numerous areas with steep slopes & soil stability concerns. WRN pays for part 3 & the governments have agreed to pay for part 2. I'm not aware of the construction progress on either section so if anyone has that information, please share it. The road is 5-10 years ahead of any grid connection.
