If this is true, it would be very helpful if you could cite even a couple of these papers so that we could draw the necessary conclusions for ourselves. You simply saying so does not make it a factual argument.
My curiosity was aroused when you stated that “The sun plays a major role in … earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.”. I cannot say that is not true, only I have never heard of this hypothesis previously. If you could cite some support for this assertion, it would be greatly appreciated. Naturally the sun does drive weather effects on Earth.
(Earthquakes are believed a result of plate tectonics that are powered by convection currents in the Earth's magma)
