Canadian Permitting
Quick question re: Canadian Permitting, will WRN have to submit all the technicals mine and processing design, waste treatment, water etc etc in the application in Q2 next year or will it be done in stages? Reason I ask is, any potential suitor will not want to be bound to something already submitted or have to go to the bother of changing it mid process if they have alternative ideas for how the mine should be developed i.e. stages vs big bang and would be likely to take out WRN in advance of any submission. Any differing views or insights?

IMO, his experience can make the flexible plan to possible owner, Rio or other suitors. That's reason why he can get 1 million options.

No harm intended but he says for permitting 4 years needed .. although all the leg work done and Rio is hesitant. I repeat you can not permit giant open pit mine in Canada , only way staged development. There are other countries pulling back from full start and some banking all together .

I'm sorry, but is the first 4 years, heap leach, core zone, NOT considered staged development? How is it not? I must be misunderstanding something.

Start with 60K mill J , smaller tailings , prove and gain trust . tailing facility , thickened tailings will be first time in use at North . Energy requirement will be immense and reduced traffic to mine will be appreciated . furthermore there is no available workforce in Yukon . Let FN corporations adapt and develop themselves . socio economic reasons

And then go through all the permitting again?

While you can printing money, you can parallel permit it. As a whole 120K per day you can not permit it. Risk of losing it is too big.

Hopefully I don't have to explain further how this would be catastrophic for us. Have to believe the board would rather reject this idea than further dilute us. We've been told repeatedly we have enough $ for permitting.

Yep, I don't disagree with you Clarke it would be catastrophic. Point is who knows what Rio want to do, we will only have clarity once they start the proper sit down discussions either pre or post Feasibility Study.
