it is perfect time for Rio to pull the trigger. But they still wait for ridiculous drilling.

Be optimistic on that drilling ! Exploration Drilling "The key exploration target for the Program will be a deep magnetotelluric (“MT”) low-resistivity anomaly initially identified in 2009 by a Titan IP-MT survey, and better defined by data reprocessing in 2018 as depicted in Figure 1 below.  The anomaly trends NE-SW, is approximately 1,300 m long and 500 m wide, and is ...more

copper head to 3.5, even 3.25, maybe we need to update the PEA again, Paul work hard but we still head to new low now. Stop endless drilling at this time and make a deal, do your real job or use your own money buyback.

the reason many of us think this is a hail mary and likely not going to be a game changer??? well it's quite obvious....the drill only costs $300k per Paul (rough estimate)...if it was going to be a game changer....it would have been drilled a LONG time ago.... by the way, didn't Goldman predict $5 copper the end of LAST year????

Sooner I don't know if they would have drilled an 800 meter target "LONG time ago" without the extra cash and a lot more confidence as they do now ! There must be a good reason they are spending $300K on one hole, I believe there will be over a million $$$ spent on additional holes in this area ! The anomaly trends NE-SW, is approximately 1,300 m long and 500 m wide, and ...more

If I recall, Paul said that this drill hole was not a requirement of RIO, even if they were in the dicusussuons, and had no bearing on negotiations with them.  So if RIO didn't want it, and it really doesn't help WRN with the tots story (possibly)...Who wants it.  This almost certainly means there is another party working with WRN.

MetalMinded, as per your comment. "This almost certainly means there is another party working with WRN". That party would be Condor Consulting Inc. Finally Paul West will be completing a deeper drill program that Condor Consulting Inc. recommended to him years ago. https://www.condorconsult.com/downloads/AEGC_2020_lies%20beneath.pdf   This was the Engineering firm that worked at ...more

I can wish, but not getting my hopes up.  The Condor study states: "In the case of the Casino deposit, the defined resource while significant is likely too low a value to support the deposit’s development. If the defined EM feature were a massive sulfide deposit with 2-3 times the grade and 15-25 Mt in size, it could be a viable target for development." I'd rather take $6-8 now ...more

WRN Exploration Drilling This could be Western Copper,, last exploration drill hole ??? A dozen different companies optioned and explored the Eskay Creek property north of Stewart, B.C., over the past half century before its real potential began to emerge in the fall of 1988. WRN The anomaly trends NE-SW, is approximately 1,300 m long and 500 m wide, and is expected to be ...more
