Everyone guessing at what may happen Nov 26 with Rio ?

 

If it’s a buyout now I can’t see Rio paying any more then $4.00  to $5.00 CDN,, more likely $4.00 CDN tops !

 

At this point, after 18 yrs I am ready to bail,, hand Casino over to the highest bidder ! IMHO

$2.5USD -- which is a 55% premium to the $1.6USD end of June 2023 when Paul was highlighting to Crux monkey what Rio paid for TRQ. Sorry to be a downer! I see no other conclusion unless Paul has someone else on the line with interest in Casino.  If not....that's all we will get. I suspect Rio if offeing right now would be $2USD....Paul won't go that low....so most likely they will

Rio will annnounce a partnership with Mitsubishi and a buyout between $1.3B and 1.7B.  I suspect this will be partially cash and partially share exchange.

RIO doesn't need Mitsubishi as a partner per se.  Sure, they can have their side offtake deals if they would like, but RIO is big enough to go this alone. If there is a JV, unfortunately (I am sure Paul knows this) we all lose.  No competitive tensions = no fair value received for Casino = failure. Sorry, I don't think this is a viable option from our perspective. Your comment

$1.3B- $1.7B --- partnership announced in Nov 2035? Nov 2023 --- not even close....beyond pipe dream.... If Paul thinks that by Nov 2023 then there will obviously be no deal and this will just drag out. Am i the only one looking at our share price since Rio annoucement, since PEA, since FS, since MMC, since drill anamoly? Nothing has moved the needle. Rio would laugh at anything close to $1B
