JFC

This weekend's posts. Are you all now realizing we have zero leverage?

Marine2:You write "if Rio....[is] somehow allowed to own more than 10% then WRN will become dead in the market..!"

Is somehow allowed??

My brother in Christ: Rio has been allowed to buy 12.5% via private placement at any given time for the last 2.5 years!!! I've been pointing this out repeatedly. Yet, all you seem to understand is....Blockades in South America means...bullish Casino?? Are you that dense?

Heywood: "the preferred option is to not allow Rio to increase to more than 10% prior to any buyout.." See ALL of my notes to Marine above. And I understand your endgame is BRICS = $5000 Gold. What's the next step there? There was a meeting on that recently, right? And tell me (without Googling!) what was the last major gold mine built? And by who? What was the CAPEX?
Our 21m ounces means jack to Gold majors.

Barring some outrageous out-of-left-field play from Ottawa or Rio, this is my last post on this board. Some of you know how to contact me directly, feel free to do so. I'd like to keep in touch. Rest of you, all the best and be safe out there.

With all due respect, I disagree Clarke.  We do have leverage and that leverage is time.  We don't HAVE to sell to RIO.  We can wait them out.  If they want the asset, and we own the asset, we have leverage.

Correct!  Same as an auto manufacturer can't produce without parts, a miner can't produce without ounces in the ground - they (the majors) need us (the juniors).  We all know that average to low grade, behemoth sized projects are the bread n' butter for the big boys.  If not RIO, there are others.  We are on the short list and the list gets smaller over time. So sad. Jc. It must be my stupidest decision to invest this junior mine. Waste money and time. Why cb. Money. Many disappointed sharholders left finally. They know the endless game and they cut the loss(or with some profit). When they complain some about company, they got more complaints from this board. Finally what we got?
