Paul ventures to Crux, for some reason

I can't listen to this. It's too painful watching Paul squirm while Matt casually hates on Casino. Tell me if there's anything even remotely positive here: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/western-copper-gold-major-backers-continue-support-process-to-production

He asks Paul very tough and appropriate questions about why anyone should be excited about investing in WRN.  Paul really struggles in this area.  He can't seem to put together a story of why retail investors should get excited.  The same reason we don't have regular and ongoing news releases like other junior leaders do.   Now, onto the main take away I had.   ...more

Old interview prior to Rio extension. Don't know why they bother to post it. Like reading yesterday's newspaper. We need a new front man. He's whipped and looks it. Never was very good at these things.

Actually it isn't old, although it may feel that way.  It's after the RIO extension and it's this year.  Paul refers to the RIO extension as "last year".  This video was posted to YouTube this morning by Crux.

Did I missunderstand, or does Paul say at circa 12.30, when asked "is it enough?" and Paul states "It is probably not enough to get all the way through". I thought they earlier stated they had enough now to get through permitting, but they diluted with Mitsubishi so that we absolutly had enough to get through permitting. Have I missed something here?

I caught that too. Plan to email Paul and ask that very question.

Barry, you likely haven't missed anything. Most $$ we've gotten is to fund specific items not including permitting. He laid this foundation last year (before the 2 guideline extension) where it was "we have enough money, but JUST enough." Now it's almost guaranteed we'll have to raise again. And I'm certain Crux releases his videos to subscribers 48 hours ...more

I didn't think this was new re: tight / not enough available funds to make it through permitting. I thought we had this conversation before? From memory the bulk of permitting spend was going to be this year and then just plodding along, primarily G&A spend, until we crossed the permitting line 3 years after submission (4 years incl. this year). So atleast they are looking after the cash ...more

Not all of us share in your opinion. I understand your frustration. Take a break from this board for the sake of your mental health. Seriously.

This is all a product of management churning this thing for a decade and a half all the time making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in salaries and selling their shares at over 2 bucks and exercising options etc at less than a dollar. Then wash, rinse and repeat. As for the pumpers like metal who say it's an industry thing they are brain dead. I own teck resources and Wheaton precious ...more

Known RIO and doing fine too.  Look at juniors for comparison.  You seem intent to live in your own misery and not listen to anything contrary.
