RE:RE:My two centsPaul already has changed the narrative. He essentially TELEGRAPHED a deal will (in his expectations) be completed next year.
Most in the market are akin to hyperactive children who have a miniscule attention span - if the buyout isn't happening in the next few weeks they'll try to arbitrage interim profits on some other play before jumping into WRN.
Things are falling into place..........Sooner's $6 thesis is falling apart now that he admits that 40% of the NPV is a likely target..........we know why the share price is stalling, it is due to timelines on a buyout that extend more than a month.
So, we all know what will happen, the investors slowly accumulate and the hot money will wait until the smoke signals elicit the fact that the fire has started to burn and it is time to jump in.
So, who are the chumps here? Is it we the investors or they the hot money? I guess it all depends on the difference between our earlier, lower basis and their later, higher basis. If one is good at hopping between stock to attempt maximizing profits they may come out ahead. Speaking for myself, I don't want the added stress and taxes associated with the stock hopping game. I find a winner and ride that horse to the finish line. That is my style.
The market is moved, however, by the hot money, not the investors. We are patient and "profit" off the premium price the Johnny-come-latelies bring to the party when they jump in at the last second.
The hot money isn't ready to dance yet, you can either join them and return to the party later or thank them that they've stayed away and take advantage of additional time to round out your share counts.
