RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:My two cents

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:My two centsMy take on the comment WRN "would throw in the rest of the deposit" reminds me of the "BOGO" adds I would see at Publix or other such grocery stores:  you buy one you get one free.  Which, is another way of saying half off.  I interpret this as if RIO will pay full for the front half they get the back half for free.

I can mull it over multiple different ways, but in the end, I keep coming back to the RIO & WRN are "partners" in this project.  OK, great, then we all know partners give each other a fair shake.

BTW, divide the headline NPV (converting to USD) and you have about $12 a share.  There is no way the BoD is going to negotiate lower into the single digits.  Sure, RIO may have time for now, but their time runs out by next November.  Anyways, Paul already said he expects to finalize a buyout offer next year.  I expect in the vicinity of $15, I hope for $20, and I will even admit it could sink as low as the $12.  But absolutely not single digits.  Sorry, I don't like giving away dollars for quarters.  RIO will buy a dollar for a quarter all day long if they could, but not from me!!

I also remember in an early interview at the onset of the RIO/WRN partnership where Paul said no way would RIO pay $2 billion.  Of course, you have to read between the lines here, he meant RIO will not shell out $2 billion based upon an (in their view) unsubstantiated PEA.  RIO has to do their due diligence and has been.  If Casino is everything they were told and more, they most certainly will have to break that $2 billion level if they want to acquire the crown jewel of the Yukon.  If they don't like that figure, maybe acquiring the crown jewel of some two-bit wasteland nobody has ever heard of is more in their budget.  But they won't, they want Casino, Paul and us already know that - no secrets here folks.
