Western Copper and Gold Corporation is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in developing the Casino Project. The Casino Project is a copper-gold mining project in Yukon, Canada. The Casino porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum deposit is located in west central Yukon, in the northwest trending Dawson Range mountains, approximately 300 kilometers (km) northwest of the territorial capital of Whitehorse. The Casino project is located on Crown land administered by the Yukon Government and is within the Selkirk First Nation traditional territory and the Tr’ondek Hwechin traditional territory lies to the north. The Casino Property lies within the Whitehorse Mining District and consists of approximately 1,136 full and partial Quartz Claims and 55 Placer Claims acquired in accordance with the Yukon Quartz Mining Act. The total area covered by Casino Quartz Claims is approximately 21,126.02 hectares (ha). The total area covered by Casino Placer Claims is 490.34 ha.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Buyout questionSooner, i was there on the day of the spike. i remember that Friday oh, so well. i bought in in one full swoop at .98 a year or two earlier. yes, it went up in increments but on that Friday it shot up from around $5 to $24 in one day. this is what we call a spike stock. i was checking back every 15 mins and i couldn't believe my friggin eyes. i am not lock, stock, and barrel on npv and mathematical formulas. or adamantally saying it will be one set price. that is arrogant. none of us are kamisama. and it wasn't overpaid. glamis then turn around and rode it up to $45 the following year when goldcorp bought out from glamis. i can give other examples of spikes, but not on buy outs, usually unexpected good news.
