Trust me, we will not allow slow creep to morph into backdoor acquisition via this method. Once any entity breaches that 20% level, they are no longer an arm's length, independent party you can do honest business with, at least in terms of assuring shareholder value is achieved in any ultimate M&A activity.
I suppose, it is possible (although highly unlikely) that this could drag on for two more years with RIO tacking on an extra 6% ownership each year, but by year 3 they will either have to **** or get off the pot.
