In terms of optimization of the project, Western Copper and Gold is trying to further expand the resources. The drill campaign that is underway should help in this process. Its main target is a large anomaly identified below the current resources. It is 1,300 meters long and 500 meters wide. Given the size, it has the potential to expand the current resources significantly.

Matsubara, how did you come up with 50/50? I would be leaning towards 10/90. I highly doubt Rio is  walking. They have thrown money into the project and I hardly could imagine them doing that without intent; Rio on numerous times has stated that they need green technology minerals, with specific reference to copper; because it is a porphyry deposit, it is almost absolutely certain that this

Pretty sure they told WRN they didn't invest in WRN to be an 8% shareholder...that $25M is round off error for them and a total waste of time and a nuasance to manage long term so I think that logic is ridiculous. everything that has been done so far has met or exceeded what has been previously advertised from WRN...so why would they walk? IMO definitely not a 50% chance of them walking in

The greater the likelihood of Rio sticking around the greater the likelihood of the SP increasing once announced. Therefore the greater the buying opportunity now. If it's 90 percent they are staying the SP should be north of $3.00 now.

Sooner definitely in the take the $4 usd offer within the next couple months.    if someone guaranteed me $10 within 5 years...then of course I'd be good to wait for that too..but the old bird in hand is 100% correct. - that's why I'd go for that and be happy pulling in those Rio dividends with my WRN converted shares at $4!
