I hope something brewing behind the scenes!!!!!
Is what you meant, right metal? And the rest of you: thanks for the laughs!!! You're gasping at straws with the casino's moly content, and smokin' that hopium Rio will accept valuation using $5 Cu/$2500 Au. Look at the price & volume since Tuesday's press release. Does it LOOK like something is brewing? If anything, sounds to me like your boys accepted Rios seemingly low-ball, yet perfectly appropriate bid, which obviously all of you skipped right over from jclarks link. "The fact we're at C$2, it makes (buyout) conversations possible. If we were at C$1.60, it'd be a tough time...."
Does this sound like Rio is prepared to value Casino at whatever the NPV using the above metals prices? Or does it sound like Casino is facing reality???? For historical record, Casino hit its enterprise ATH on February 8, 2011 for a $385m valuation - CAD:USD = PAR. Today's market capitalization = C$383.54. Rio Canada is negotiating with WRN for a Canadian asset, so USD's relative strength is meaningless. As an enterprise, this is as expensive as the company's ever been. Rio & Casino will negotiate a sticker price. Whatever that sticker price is, will represent the highest valuation ever for Casino. At best a 40% premium to here. Rio cares not a whit about the share count. Paul's likely accepted reality here, and is doing you all a huge favor before the mother of all crashes approaches.
