My Colleague

I work for a major national institute of science, research, and development in Japan. Every Friday I meet one of my Japanese counterparts who is a senior researcher. He has assured me I have invested well with my copper investments. Anyway, he just came back from Tokyo the other day after attending a major international conference with researchers from around the world. It wasn't just semicinductors. People associated with EVs and critical minerals were also in attendance and presenting. The general consensus, according to my friend, is that critical minerals will go up steadily but at a slower rate than originally anticipated. He said that the reason is that experts didn't foresee certain obstacles in a green way. Yes, EVs may be more green than gas cars, but you need to use dirty technology to get there. He said that the electrufication of the planet will happen, but at a slower rate than planned.
Here is a link to the website my colleague attended, although it does not provide much information:

Three separate arms of Mitsubishi were presenting. I strongly suspect some MM people must have been there, too.
