The United States has to be the most arrogant country.
This is for the older guys that built this country. Remember years ago when Canada switched over to the metric system with the rest of the world and the states stubbornly stuck to their system until lately. Does anyone know how expensive that has been. I still don't like the metric system. It's all mathematical and measurement is distance. sae is nice. An inch is a nice distance. A centimeter is just too short and no one knows how long a decimeter is. Why can't these arrogant fools learn how to compromise. For those that know how to read a tape measure, The best solution for two antiquated systems would be to have made a meter exactly the length of an 8ft. sheet of plywood. People are the number one consideration and 8ft. takes that nicely into consideration. It keeps metric but gets rid of those ugly distances. By now it probably would have gotten the United States out of debt. Now how arrogant is that. I'm going to post this now probably come up with more later.
