Nope it just stretches the Imagination. Amex is more likely the target if any as suggested stringent listing requirements will have to be met of course, but it would give Exeter much greater exposure to the US investment community. Politics in South America have Bolivia and Venuzuela demanding a greater share of the wealth generated from their Oil and Natural Gas resources and facing off against large American and European corporate interests who don't like it one bit. Having their milk given to the folks who were always at the back end of the cow until now must really stick in the eye.
It will have no detremental effect whatsoever on Exeter's operations in Argentina and Chile, it's highly unlikely that those events will drive off US investors although I must admit the recent belecose political rhetoric of displeasure from Washington over these events may dissuade some. the Oil lobby hates it.
Perhaps potential investors should take out a map and find out just where Argentina and Chile are and see the movie 'Motor Cycle Diaries' Oh! Cuba and Fidel are in that too.
the Nasdaq doesn't sound right at all as it's Tech oriented not mining. For now until it's in black and white from Exeter it remains trading on pink sheets and TSX V. A move to the TSX would be Ok with me.
