Ah!! the fear factor

Ah!! the fear factor Doesn't take much to set off an avalanche of selling does it? Pick up some more cheap that's all I can say. One small misunderstood reuters news item sets it off. Would you be kind enough to post the item so we can read it in context. If it's a government environmental revue and they want to tighten the rules they have every right to do that. shut it down?!! I don't think so who would not want a big fat producing gold mine in their back yard? Not to mention the jobs. Are there not quantities of toxic chemicals, acids and so on used to extract gold and other minerals from the crushed rock? I would want to be sure if it were I that vast quantities of these materiels could be transported, stored and used safely without harming the surrounding environment, BEFORE I allow the mine. It's too late afterwards so prevention is better than cure. It's been a bad day on the market for XRC, just goes to show how even the mildest negative news item can send the stock price down quickly. Memories of Bre X still haunt investors caught in that debacle. Just my thoughts. C
