However what happens in Mendoza province is I think a local state issue rather than a national presidential election and has to do with environmental issues surrounding the way in which the gold/ silver was to be extracted. Something to do with the proposed mercury leaching method and environmental issues surrounding the technology and how safe it is and any possible contamination that could enter water cources etc,mercury poisoning in the food chain fish in streams and the rest.
That's what has stalled any further development of the Don Sixto project, I guess we have only to look at the brasilian experience to see why at least for the moment the environmental issues surrounding Don Sixtos development are sensitive.
I see today XRC announced it's hired some new talent, and created a new executive position for one of them, getting their ducks in a row for some expansion down the way?? They haven't hired these guys to sit on their duffers.
