(TSX VENTURE:PAT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gary Kirk to the position of President and CEO. Mr. Kirk will begin his duties effective May 1st, 2006. Mr. Kirk will also be appointed to for the Board of directors. Mr. Kirk has 30 years experience in financial markets where he has traded and marketed services in Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives and Money Markets to financial institutions in Canada and abroad. Richard Sutcliffe, Patricia's Chairman, stated "Mr. Kirk has the unanimous support of the board and I am pleased that he will join our team. We look forward to Gary's marketing focus and his plan to increase exposure of Patricia to investors. This is an exciting time for Patricia as we are bringing the company to a gold producing status in the next three months. " Patricia will grant 250,000 options at a price of $1.02, 250,000 at $1.25 and 250,000 at $1.50 to Mr. Kirk. The options will be for a 5 year term and are subject to approval by the TSX-V.
