RE:RE:RE:RE:With Turtle goneDontfollow, I think you are taking some of these posts too literally. I think everyone wants to see PAT hire a CEO with experience running a company that is in the growth stage- not just a salesman.
An understanding of the sales and marketing process, at that level, should go without saying.
Cronin served his purpose when PAT was a start-up. He is a good communicator and his past experience in the field of diplomacy definitely helped in building partnerships. He is a genuine, likeable guy.
But come on, Dontfollow, look at his CV. He is not a power CEO. He has zero background in running a growth company- or any company other than Patriot and his own consulting firm.
The decision to replace Cronin was inevitable. It just should have been done in conjunction with having a replacement ready to go.
