2017 SIA-ISC West award for new ptoduct showcase - removedAt about the time of the news release indicating the award, in the New Product Showcase (NPS), Patriot One started referring to PATSCAN CMR as “
award-winning PATSCAN™ CMR”. Since that time, there were over fifty corporate press releases refer to PATSCAN CMR as
”award-winning PATSCAN™ CMR”. Around 06/03/2019,
the company stopped referring to the “
award-winning PATSCAN™ CMR cognitive microwave radar system.” Why was that? Is the award no longer valid? Did they stop referring to the award after I brought forward questions about CMR last year? Did the company shelf the award along with CMR in favor of VRS after their lawyer admitted to the FCC they had a through wall imager rather than a security screening device last year?
At the time of the new product showcase (NPS), because CMR was not ready to be sold, Patriot One was required to notify the SIA people. Moreover any promotion of the CMR product (not available for sale), under SIA rules that product is no longer eligible for the New Product Showcase award. Alluding to an award that they were no longer eligible, that’s strange considering over fifty Patriot One press releases said it was true.
More recently, poof it’s gone from the Patriot One website The 2017 company news release can be found here: https://patriot1tech.com/corporate-news/patriot-one-wins-best-category-security-industry-association-event-isc-west/
