Think those in over $1 from 2-5years are bailing I think this climb is artificial. Those who held because they were way under water and in at over $1+ from 2 to 5 years ago are riding this wave and now bailing. Less of a loss!
What's really changed? $6m investment burned in 2 quarters in this past year, now $13m investment that will last 4 quarters based on burn rate.
Can the company break even by December? What's Q2 Results say? March 15 Q2 MD&A due out (45 days after Q2 Jan 31, 2023 ending). Let's see the sales. I could be wrong, but doubtful. If you can recall... we saw such stellar Q1 sales occured between August 1-Oct 31... LOL. What will Q2 sales be like??? Remember, Q2 happened at height of recession fears, corporate right sizing (layoffs) and a laxidazical holiday season ... Well, in 15 days we'll all see Q2 sales ... I'd wait to get excited. But, who knows... I could be wrong.
But again... my gut says this ramp up in volume and price is many who held for 2+ years at over $1 are now bailing with less of a total loss, as not a lot has changed in the sales department for the entire FY2022 and Q1, FY2023 ... and Q2 will be out shortly. Like last year at this time we saw an investment... now $13m cad investment, where last year is was $6m on a goal of $50m, if I recall. What was the goal for this year fund raise? Was it only $13m or was it again $50m? If such a hot ticket, why not more $$ raised?
Enjoy the roller coaster... the best part of the ride is the anticipation of the drop ... as you climb the steep steep hill!
