RE:According to the The way I interpretted that goal (5 pro teams by end of 2024) was this:
- underpromise, overdeliver.... they know damned well they have five teams lined up already. The rest will be gravy in terms of that goal - this is good!
- it tells me there is likely zero doubt about their DHS application, or they would not be stating the above noted goal.
- Not so much an interpretation, but a thought. It seems to me these owners all hobnob together - almost like a club of sorts. They arent competitive against each other financially per se - just put the best team on the ice/field. So when they sip cocktails in those owner boxes and talk business it only makes sense they will be discussing ways to save money and expedite ingress. All the owners will also have been walked through our screening as well as a convo starter! VIP still does security. 5 pro teams is a very modest goal once dhs is signed IMO.
