SP Shenanigans?

Just curious, do you guys see ongoing shenanigans, e.g., multiple 500 share sales, and other weird things happening that keep a lid on the SP? An outright stop? Or, if so, do you see a decrease in them? Any observations would be appreciated.

Romulus....ever since the real craziness started back in April, I have made a point of keeping tabs on our TSX trading activity and have a peek at it probably 5+ times a day without fail.  While I would have bet a whack of dough that there was some serious funny business going on back in April when the public offering was announced, I don't think so anymore.  The frequency of these

Davinator, there is no way a day trader is going to flip blocks of 500 shares, especially when the shares trade in a tight range (=/- a few pennies). If a day trader makes a trade of 500 shares for a 2 cent profit per share, he is making $10. If it were a $100 stock making 3 or 4 points, yes, then I would agree about day trading. These 500 share algo trades are typical for Canadian micro and small caps. It’s bread & butter trading for brokerages. The brokerage with the most sophisticated algo will win until a better algo shows up. Best not to pay any attention to these trades unless you have a very good day-trading system of your own.
