Many many companies with 200-400m in reclaimation obligations that twist "estimates" on discount rates or inflation rates to lower their decommisioning liability....and only spend less then 10m annually on reclaimation. Very short sighted thinking and investors will get burned in the future.
The only reason why more gov rules on reclaimation have not come in is the russia war and government want more energy right now. But when the war ends...
