RE:Wow..is this right for Yangarra???Further to last post....what is baffling is orlens looks to own land for 3 miles out of that 4 mile well yet yangarra is operator of well. One would think majority owner of that land orlens would do spud...right?
The orlens wells in that area did crazy high oil production for first 6 months of production and then died off to low oil faster than they should....leading out to think they over fracked the well.
Orlens got 700 barrels of oil per dsy first month and by month 8 only 30-50 barrels...these wells should declne but not like that.
So perhaps this well is going where they know lots of oil but can't frack it so hard.
Tight spacing this proposed well but maybe that is logic.
But it still doenst explain did YGR and orlens do a land deal....
I thought maybe it was this from q3 press release:
Subsequent to the end of Q3, a small tuck-in of a jointly owned property was closed with 75 boe/d of production and 3 (1.25 net) sections of land at a compelling valuation.
But i dont think so as orlens area drilling is more than 75 and more than 1.25 sections...
