A couple points on YGR Q3.....

Do any of you think IPO,BNE or OBE will have higher Q3 CF then Q2?
Q3 should be lower financial results as Q2 had like 7.50 NG and 130 Cad oil....Q2 is NOT the normal for most companies. I ignore Q2 as being sustianable...russian war prices.
Example Whitecap had 1.09 per share CF in Q2 and 89 cents in Q3...lol Q3 should be slightly lower...pricing is lower on commodities in Q3. Still really good on a historical basis for YGR and WCP.

The only companies that will generally show higher Q3 financial numbers are the one's that had bad hedges in Q2 and they have rolled off....

The only reason why they only paid off 8m in debt is they bought land for 3.5m and they bought probably 2m or more of equipment  then in a normal quarter.

Should YGR have passed up on this land to please YGR shareholders then want to flip YGR for a quick gain in 2 weeks.  YGR management team is in this for the long term to maximize value.

Petrus is drilled a well in Sept close to that West Ferrier land package YGR bought and we should now more soon on how that looks. Must be very prosepective if Petrus wanted to drill in Sept.

Samsun energy, small private drilled a well south of that new YGR land, basically borders it to south in October 2021 and derisked that land alot and prob why YGR bid so agressively. YGR would have had more competiton then year ago for land.

Anyways it did 2000 MCF of NG and 130 barrels of condy per day in month 1 and YGR probably can drill better then Samsun and longer and get better then this.

YGR has more condy and NG options now....gaining land in ferrier is good. That is a honey hole.

Very rational points. What about processing further west. Won't drilling here required another GP?

Fully I considered this as well.  The gas plant YGR already has in Ferrier is close enough to produce the NG from this new land.  The Petrus/CNQ gas plant and YGr's are probably only 2 gp's close enough. YGR can either pay a processing charge to petrus/cnq or if the current YGR gp is full, they can expand it.  The expanding an existing GP is so much cheaper then starting ...more

Hey Kav   Your post makes absolute, and glad you are able to confirm this. Perhaps you should consider replacing YGR's communication Dir. I think investor's would be more at peace if the company was a little more transparent. It seems like they are setting themselves up very well for the future, however it would be great to share this news in a more conscise manner with their ...more

I agree with you the information is "light" on the investor presentation. One would assume they are working on a detailed capex plan for 2023 and it will be released separately in a press release in Nov to early Dec. Thanks man and Gl.
