Management

Anyone spoken with management lately?

Getting a little ridiculous that no communication since Q3 results where all future guidance was yanked.

Shareholders getting whacked day after day and the only thing they manage to do is exercise rsu.

Yes management is totally incompetant. However I am still here because it is more than priced in. Lower your expectations...

The share price goes up and down with commodity price. It might be easier to blame that on management than to admit you bought a gas company going into  a terrible price environment at the wrong time. The fact that management didn't seem to see that either doesn't suggest they are incompetent but that they cannot tell the future any better than you. Those things management can control ...more

Price is what prices are. But drilling results are the main issue that was in their control.
Comment by cfliesser on Jan 09, 2024 2:59pm
The issue is spending capital for poor results.

Do you have the drilling results? I am waiting for the reserve report to determine the success or failure of the program

Nov production is flat. Dec not out yet. Petroninja recent wells (ones online at least 2 motnhs anyways) not good at all. Unless december is some miracle, its a failure. I am only concerned with drill results. Commodity prices will be fine.

It is strange (even for YGR standards which often include poor results) how really awful the 7 x 2 mile Q3 wells have performed. 6 in Willy and 1 in Cheddar.   Literally nothing has come out of any of them after months online which is the major cause of no Q4 growth.  One would hope (dream) that there was something fundamentally wrong done on them that could be easily corrected so ...more

This is why I think there is a chance they are doing something to hold back flush flow and only put them online in december to goose the exit rate. I hope so anyways, otherwise there is a major problem

Was a service rig on the wells after completion? My spidey senses from a host of factors leads me to think their was some "completion problems". If the wells were "fracked" in right spot, even if in a bad rock or low pressure reservior....the wells should have produced over 100 BOE in first 20 days...and then start dropping. Didnt see that intial burst in summer wells so I ...more

All you need to do is call the main line and ask to talk to investor relations. I did this a few weeks back and had an hour long call with James Glessing and the President as well as the Head of Land. I learned a lot from the discussion.  They are operationally very sound. Getting hammered by nat gas prices and their production volumes hampered by weather and wildfires as they were delayed on ...more
