Because it is declining kav.

All of it is declining, with all producers everywhere. 

yangarra decline rates are slightly over 30%. Last Q showed 5-6% sequential decline AFTER spending 16 million.

growth for the year was minimal with a 96 million dollar budget - which was pretty close to bne's cardium budget. 

As results start sinking in, YGR is going to have fewer options. 1.69x debt  AFTER dilution and two very active drilling years. Brutal. 


It's time to shoot the poor dog and put it out of its misery.

The decline was not so bad. Oil decline was bad yes but total production decline was actual quite minimal. The 19 wells brought online in H2 contributed about 500 b/d total in Q4. The 11 wells brought online in H1 contributed about 1300 b/d in Q4 so without any new wells in 2023 would of ended a bit under 10k. So total decline a bit under 20% (of course oil was much higher).  The 2023 ...more
